Gestión basada en resultados en el UNFPA
UNFPA is committed to achieving three ambitious , people - centered, transformative results by 2030. These transformative results are:
1. End preventable maternal mortality ; 2. End the unmet need for family planning ; and 3. End gender - based violence and all harmful practices , including female genital mutilation and child , early and forced marriage .
With only a few years remaining until the 2030 deadline to achieve these transformative results , urgency is needed . To do so , UNFPA is requiring its managers and staff to : (a) be results - driven ; (b) accelerate the implementation of interventions ; ( c ) go beyond business - as - usual activities and approaches ; and ( d ) enhance partnerships and move towards joint accountability .
To support these efforts , UNFPA must enhance and strengthen results - based management (RBM) within the organization by shifting the focus towards learning , which is a key aspect of RBM.
To realize this vision , RBM at UNFPA is structured in the form of 3 core principles and 5 guiding principles .
