UNFPA Tajikistan

UNFPA has supported Tajikistan since 1995, strengthening the capacity of health professionals to provide reproductive and sexual health care, including to youth and other vulnerable groups, in addition to assisting with the regular supply of contraceptives and other basic commodities. Initiatives also help develop national skills to collect, study and use reliable demographic information to plan and monitor development, as well as to strengthen the response to gender-based violence.
