Bangladesh hosts a large refugee population and is highly vulnerable to climate-related disasters. UNFPA and its partners are working to strengthen disaster preparedness and to provide assistance to Rohingya refugees and their host communities, including women-friendly spaces, family planning, psychosocial support and midwifery services. In addition, UNFPA works to improve reproductive health care services by emphasizing gender inclusiveness and human rights, and to reduce sexual and gender-based violence.
