Gambia Humanitarian Emergency

Gambia is susceptible to recurrent climate-related disasters such as drought and flooding, resulting in loss of livelihoods and food insecurity. UNFPA focuses on supporting women, girls and young people by supporting and strengthening local capacities in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence, including maternal health care, family planning and clinical management of rape.
