Indonesia Humanitarian Emergency

The Indonesian archipelago is located in a region that is highly prone to natural disasters; more than 97% of Indonesians live in disaster-prone areas. When disasters occur, UNFPA supports Indonesia’s government on the reproductive health and gender-based violence components of the response. This includes, for instance, support for safe spaces, where women, adolescents and young people can access GBV and SRH services, information and social support.
