UNFPA is scaling up its response with partners to safeguard the health and rights of women and girls, including giving birth safely and living free from violence and abuse.
Nearly 7,000 individuals have been reached with life-saving sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence support including dignity and maternity kits in Turkiye's earthquake-affected areas.
UNFPA’s appeal for the earthquake response is $19.7 million and aims to reach 1.5 million people. To date, only 17% of the appeal has been funded.
One year on from Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, millions of women and children have experienced unspeakable horrors and been exposed to trauma.
