UNFPA has delivered a total of 370 sexual and reproductive health kits (including for post-rape treatment) and 38,000 gynaecological kits to hospitals and clinics in conflict-affected regions of eastern Ukraine since beginning its humanitarian response in September 2014.

These supplies, delivered as part of UNFPA’s continuing work with Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy to address the needs of the most vulnerable, help ensure access to reproductive health services and save the lives of mothers and newborns.
