My Body, My Life, My World puts young people at the centre of UNFPA’s work, recognizing their right to make informed choices about their own bodies, their own lives and the world they live in. In 2022 UNFPA is publishing an Operational Guidance on the strategy for the staff of Country and Regional Offices and UNFPA Headquarters.
Module 8 unpacks the concept of “young people’s rights” and presents approaches to advance the human rights of youth, including promoting key human rights of young people, mainstreaming these through existing mechanisms, policies and programmes, supporting young people’s participation in human rights mechanisms by promoting youth-led accountability, and leaving no one behind.
