This technical results report provides a detailed account of progress against the indicators of the UNFPA Supplies Partnership's Performance Measurement Framework. As a core part of the programme’s annual reporting, this document includes a Scorecard summarizing programme progress across all indicators. The report is structured around the four strategic objectives of the programme: Availability and Choice, Strengthened Supply Chains, Increased Government Commitment, and Operational Effectiveness and Efficiency.
The UNFPA Supplies Partnership is a global health initiative that strengthens health systems by advancing policy, improving supply chains, diversifying financing, and expanding access to quality-assured contraceptives and maternal health medicines in 54 of the lowest-income countries. In 2024, the programme enabled 25 million women to access essential reproductive health services. This support prevented nearly 10 million unintended pregnancies and averted over 204,000 maternal and newborn deaths. Furthermore, the Partnership delivered 43.2 million couple-years of protection (CYP), and helped mobilize record levels of domestic financing for commodities, reaching an estimated $52 million in expenditures.
