1–6 November | Bogotá, Colombia
The International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) arrives at a defining moment for women’s health and rights — as funding shortfalls, political pushback, and growing misinformation threaten recent gains in reproductive health worldwide. UNFPA – the United Nations Population Fund – will highlight how family planning is not only a health intervention but also a pathway to gender equality, economic growth and stronger, more resilient communities.
Active in more than 150 countries, UNFPA helps governments and communities expand access to voluntary, high-quality family planning so people can make informed choices about their bodies and futures. UNFPA’s work extends far beyond contraceptives – it strengthens health systems, advances the midwifery health workforce, supports data and policy planning, and helps countries finance and sustain their own programmes. At ICFP 2025, UNFPA will showcase how evidence, partnership and rights-based action are transforming lives and building more equitable, sustainable societies.
