Job description

The position:

Website Analyst position is located in the Media & Communications Branch of the Division of Communications and Strategic Partnerships (DCS) and reports directly to the Online Communications Manager. 

Job Purpose:

The UNFPA Global website is one of the most comprehensive communication channels of the organization. It reflects the entirety of UNFPA’s thematic and research work and offers a full representation of UNFPA’s organizational structure and functioning. www.unfpa.org  includes the websites of the Executive Board, organizational results, the transparency portal and the interactive statistical data portal.        

The Website Analyst works as part of the online communications team to create state of the art, data-driven web pages and interactive reports to be launched on the organization’s global website.

The Website Analyst acts as an interface and project manager between the focal points in various headquarters divisions and branches on one side and the external designers, developers and quality assurance teams on the other.  

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Advanced university degree in a related field is required.

Knowledge and experiences:

At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of digital communications

Complete fluency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
