Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Humanitarian Coordinator, the GBV Programme Coordinator will be based in Sana’a, Yemen to provide oversight and coordination of all UNFPA’s matters related to GBV in the country.
Job Purpose
Overall coordination for effective and efficient implementation of GBV component of UNFPA in contribution to the Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan.
Education:
Advanced University degree in gender, population, social sciences
Knowledge and Experience:
7 years of relevant professional experiences in humanitarian technical assistance, programming and management gender or population and development.
Knowledge of UNFPA humanitarian Fast Track procedures is an advantage
Experience in working in hardship fragile context is an advantage
Proficiency in current office software applications
