Job description
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Focal Point is located in the UNFPA Mozambique Country Office (CO) in Maputo, and under the overall guidance of the Country Representative, reports directly to the Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Team Leader.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or a related field. Specialized knowledge in the field of Logistics, Supply Chain and/or pharmaceutical professional is desirable.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience with 3 years required in reproductive health/family planning or related work of which at least 2 years should be in the area of RHCS Logistic Management;
- Experience with UN procurement, finance and contracting regulations and procedures will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of global health and pharmaceutical market and stakeholders is an asset, especially in regards to sexual, reproductive and maternal health;
- Strong analytical and leadership skills;
- Proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT systems.
Language
Fluency in English and Portuguese required.
Nationality:
- Mozambican.
