Job Summary
Under the guidance and supervision of the Youth-HIV program Analyst, the Programme Assistant - Youth will support youth project activities of implementing partners (IPs) for effective planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
Experience and Education:
Minimum High school Diploma with 5 years of experience in the public or private sector, Previous experience preferably in the fields of youth , Excellent and proven experience in dealing with local government challenges; with special emphasis to youth initiatives, knowledge and experience in the field of youth policy and community development actions;OR Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities with two years relevant experience.
Experience in preparing capacity building trainings;
Good working knowledge of English;
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel spreadsheet; Knowledge of MS Project an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate under stressful conditions;
Good social and communicative skills;
Team worker and organizer;
Cultural sensitivity required in serving persons of culturally diverse backgrounds;
Language Requirements:Very Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
Computer Experience of Microsoft office is required .
