The Position

The Finance Associate reports to the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right/Gender-Based Violence Project Coordinator heading the Spotlight Initiative at the Country office. You will support the management of the resources of the organization. With a thorough understanding of UNFPA's financial management rules, you will demonstrate a client-centered and results-based approach in the interpretation and implementation of procedures and guidelines. You will act in a perspective of support and advice to programs and projects

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

At least a completed Secondary (High School) Level Education is required. First level university degree (Bachelors) is desirable.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Six years of relevant experience in administration, finance or office management.
  • Proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT financial systems.
  • Knowledge of the mode of engagement of the European Union is an asset
  • Proven experience with European Union fund program is an advantage.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point required

Language:

Fluency in French is required working knowledge of another UN language such as English may be required.
