The Liaison Officer substantively contributes on advancing a policy-oriented agenda, leveraging the resources of national governments, building strategic alliances and partnerships and developing internal and external communication.

The incumbent contributes to the development of new UNFPA strategies and policies to guide UNFPA’s positions in regional inter-governmental and inter-agency coordination processes in the regions, including in the UN Regional Commissions.
