UNFPA Malaysia

UNFPA has provided support in Malaysia since 1973, advising on key population and development issues and focusing on vulnerable populations and young people and their access to contraception and sexual and reproductive health care. Initiatives aim to strengthen the response to gender-based violence through the public health system and to support the incorporation of population dynamics into policy and planning. Through South-South cooperation, the technical cooperation among developing countries in the Global South, UNFPA also encourages the exchange of experiences between Malaysia and developing nations.
