The purpose of the country programme evaluation was to provide the UNFPA Country Office in Zimbabwe, national stakeholders, the UNFPA East and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) and UNFPA Headquarters with an independent assessment of the performance of UNFPA Zimbabwe 7th Country Programme (2016–2020), and to broaden the evidence base for the design of the next programme cycle.
