Established in 2025, UNFPA’s Berlin Representation Office marks a key step in strengthening our partnership with Germany – a global leader in public health, an economic powerhouse and a strong supporter for sexual and reproductive health and rights and multilateral cooperation.

The office serves as a dynamic hub for advocacy, partnership building, and resource mobilization. It works to deepen engagement with governments, parliamentarians, civil society, the private sector, media, academia, and the broader public - amplifying awareness of UNFPA’s mission to achieve a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled.

In addition to its focus on Germany, the Berlin Representation Office also oversees engagement in Austria and Liechtenstein, with a strategic vision on strengthening partnerships across Central Europe. Pivotally located in the heart of Berlin and closely collaborating with the Berlin Women X Collective Hub the office is well-positioned to engage with a broad range of national and international stakeholders. Together, we are working to drive progress toward a more just, equitable, and sustainable future for all.
