The UNFPA Environmental Efficiency Strategy (EES) provides a framework, inspired by the ISO 14001:2015 standard, that will help the UNFPA achieve the 45% reduction target, as well as the environmental targets mentioned in the UNFPA Strategic Plan, while mainstreaming environmental considerations into operations, programs, and policies.
