The situation in Türkiye remains dire, with over 15 million people affected by the earthquake.
Half of them are women and girls, and more than 20,000 pregnant women will give birth soon.

On 6 February 2023, two big earthquakes with 7.8 and 7.6 magnitudes, respectively, hit areas of Türkiye and neighbouring countries. UNFPA appeals for $19.7 million to support the immediate acute response and initiate recovery of SRH ($11.7 million) and GBV services ($ 8 million).
