2024 FGM Regional Snapshot: East and Southern Africa

These four regional snapshots from the UNFPA-UNICEF Joint Programme on the Elimination of  Female Genital Mutilation provide an overview of the FGM situation, spotlighted interventions and collaborative partners in the Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, East and Southern Africa, and West and Central Africa. 
  
The regional snapshots demonstrate the influential role of the Joint Programme in strengthening regional and global movements to end FGM.
