This report highlights UNFPA’s progress on CVA in 2024, during which country offices provided $12.6 million in such assistance to 153,840 individuals in 31 countries to support their access to key services and items related to sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence.

2022 was a "year of extremes" and women and young people continue to bear the brunt of the consequences. But UNFPA rose to the challenge despite these multiple and overlapping crises. The year was not only one of extreme hardship; 2022 also saw remarkable signs of progress. Our 2022 annual report shows how. 

UNFPA is now closing the chapter on its 2018-2021 Strategic Plan, a period that saw both unprecedented ambition — in the form of UNFPA’s transformative results — and unprecedented tumult. That experience has strengthened our organization. We are undeterred in our goals and secure in the knowledge that we can, and we will, continue to deliver for women and girls.
