Developed jointly by UNFPA, UNICEF and Save the Children, this technical brief explores how technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) manifests from childhood through older age, emphasizing the need for a life-course approach that reflects the distinct needs of children, adolescents and adults. It highlights both the synergies and distinctions between GBV and child protection sectors, and outlines five priority areas for action - legal protections, prevention, safety-by-design and tech accountability, survivor-centred response, and evidence generation - to help build a safer, more inclusive digital future for all.
