In line with ongoing initiatives to promote the gender-transformative work of civil society organizations (CSOs) working to end child marriage, the purpose of this assignment is to assess the CSOs which are partners of the UNFPA-UNICEF Global Programme to End Child Marriage, and to review and document organizations that are youth- or women-led and those supporting adolescent girls’ empowerment and agency.
This assessment seeks to guide UNICEF and UNFPA on how better to support and identify opportunities for improving gender-transformative approaches within the Global Programme going forward.
