Job description

Position Summary:

Under the Supervision of the SRH/HIV Technical Advisor for the regional office, and in close collaboration with country offices and UNAIDS Regional office, the incumbent will Support the implementation of the phase 2 implementation of the Linkages project and the general strengthening of  HIV and SRH in the region.

Requirements:

Education:

Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, demography, social sciences or related field;

Knowledge and Experience:

7 years’ experience in development, design, and implementation of HIV and AIDS and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programmes in developing countries;
Experience in Africa with international donors; experience in the UN system and in Southern Africa is an asset;
Experience in the management of multi-country HIV or Health related programmes;
Experience in fund-raising and partnerships with private and public sector
Excellent writing, analysis and communication skills;
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
Proficiency in current office software and statistical application

Languages:

Fluency in English. Working knowledge of French is an added advantage.
