UNFPA Türkiye

Following the catastrophic earthquakes that took the lives of tens of thousands in early 2023, UNFPA is working to provide life-saving sexual and reproductive health services as well as gender-based-violence services, by supporting mobile and static units, outreach teams, counselling, and more. Active in Türkiye since 1971, UNFPA also supports efforts to advance women’s rights, to improve access for young people to sexual and reproductive health information and services, and to assist with data on emerging population issues, such as migration and ageing.
