The UNFPA Zambia country office commissioned the end of country programme evaluation to enhance the accountability of UNFPA for the relevance and performance of the country programme; broaden the evidence base for the design of the next programme cycle; and generate a set of clear forward-looking and actionable recommendations logically linked to the findings and conclusions, identifying key lessons learned from past and current cooperation. The country programme evaluation will also influence the current cycle that is being extended to 2021 to align with the Zambia national development planning and UN partnership programme cycles.
